Well the Romans never wanted to execute Jesus Pilate at he time sent him back three times to be tried under Jewish laws at the time there was a strong revolt against the Romans so the Jewish Leader thought it would make the Romans happy by executing Jesus under the Roman law.
Jesus wouldn't of been crucified on a hill it would of more likely of been in quarry outside Jerusalem which was common pratice at that time.
