i honestly dont believe the other member was making smart comments about the english either, he was expressing his opinion (freedom of speech and all that) and it seems to me ( an innocent and completely neutral bystander in this particular forum)that you chose to take it out of context you dislike him and have a tendency to disagree with or comment on his opinion each time he posts and then tend to portray him in a bad light to the other members on the site (ie accusing him of being the reason the kid left the site, which in my opinion is complete rubbish as the kid and all here are adults and we are surely old and mature enough to make our own decisions about coming or going and dont base them on the comments of others as it is afterall a chatting site open for debates and discussions whether they be good or bad)

Look pb at the end of the day the real thing to be said here is just because someone doesnt agree with or dislikes something you have written its not good enough reason for you to bully them or portray them in a bad wayto the others.its just not a fair thing to do to anyone regardless.

i agree wit you that its only a picture and its not about people thinking we are desperate or not its just a matter of lack of courage on my part but i will see about putting a photo up soon but just not quite yet...

i appreciate that corrib2 but i am on the site more for the forums and the company than for dating. And judging by some of the people that do IM me and i with no photo up i am probably better remaining that way (there are some scarey men out there )present company excluded of course

chicken maybe but at least i am being honest about it. i dont much care what others have to say about being on the site, but if you check it out ll you will see that there are very few from kildare (male or female) that have a profile photo up. fair play to you as you have the right attitude about it all....ahh if only we could all be as brave/confident

no i agree its a good topic. me personally i am just to chicken to post profile photo.. its okay for those of you that came from dublin or the larger cities but me i come from a really small town and just wouldnt be comfortable with my photo displayed sad i know but the truth
