I remember one Christmas ,I had gotten my oldest daughter a doll house, it had the Dolls the cups and saucers , all the things she needed. well I was putting it together that Christmas eve night, so when she got up it was the first thing she saw. Well it looked like that was not going to happen because the damn assembly kit was missing one of the main connecting screws. There I was ,it was Christmas eve and it was 3:00 in the morning. I got in my car and drove all over the Dallas metro area trying to find something, that would work, but everything was friggen CLOSED! Finally, I just gave up and started back toward home, feeling really quite devastated about the fact that my little girl was not going to have a very happy Christmas, Then all of a sudden, I looked to my left and there it was, shinning like a magical lighted Christmas Tree in a lonely darken forest ,on a cold winters night,
the lights of an all night Tom Thumb it was one of the new supper stores that they had recently opened and they had a hardware aisle . “So the memory is there to remind me “ Don’t ever give up”
I believe a person should have goals and hopes that thier dreams can come true. But fairytales with kinghts in shining armor are for children. And their is no such thing as the perfect (bever clever family) “When I was a child, I thought like a child, and played like a child. When I became a man, I put away childish thoughts and games and thought as a man”.
But i will say this "spitfire" keep your hopes and goals ever before you,keep your eyes on the brass ring and your standards high. Now you might just miss the brass ring,but get the Gold,because life gets kinda strange at times. DON'T EVER GIVE UP!
With the 4TH of July is just around the corner, and it's my most loved Holidays, for a lot of reasons, but mostly Patriotic. The 4th Of July reminds me, to be very appreciative, not only of the Men, from my own family, who served and gave their lives, But to the Men and Women World wide who have served and gave their lives, so we can live and exercise not only our inalienable rights, but freedom for many world wide. Background checks don’t tell the whole story. Take an arrest record: It only give you the charges against a person, not nessary the out come. And when people hear that someone was arrested for something they tag it” must be guilty .
a friend of mine went through pure hell, to start off with,he was going through a bitter divorce,they were fighty for custody of their little girl so he had to hire an family law attorney. And their not cheap Then sometime during the divorce process his wife accused him of fondling their daughter, the little girl was around 5 or 6 years old, the mother filed charges at the police dept against him the police sent her to a child advocacy center and got the little girls story on video tape. Well he was arrested and charged with” indecency with a child by contact now”. Now he had to come up with a $10,000 retainer and hire a criminal attorney plus put up 2500.00 dollars of a 25000.00 bond to get out of jail.. Oh it get’s worse! The little girl recanted her story to everyone. she said her mother made her to say it, that her mother told her to tell everyone her daddy touch her in her privates.Now her mother only told her to say he touched her,not all the other stuff,she made all that up,lol. but when they started questioning her about how it happened she made up a story so they wouldn’t catch her in a lie and get her mommy in trouble. and they had her story all on video tape. But even though the little girl finally wanted to tell everyone the truth and that she had lied about her daddy touching her ,law enforcement didn’t believe she was telling the truth about lying,lol
Anyway it was to late for the guy, he had already been indited by the grand jury and arrested.
Well some 3 ½ years later, the whole thing gets dismiss or thrown out or what ever, noe this guy is financially destitute and his character ruined He could not get the arrest record expunged in Texas, because he was not found “not guilty by a jury”. Ya see the case was dismissed, and the only way you can get the arrest record wiped clean is to be found not guilty, or have the charged dropped, and charges can’t be dropped if the grand jury has already indited you. Last I heard the little girl now a young lady, still maintains she made the whole thing up, and they all were duped by a 5 year old. But her daddy’s life was ruined. And whom ever runs a background check on this poor guy , will only see the charge, ”indecency with a child by connect” but no explanation. now who in hell’s name would give this poor guy a job ,let alone a date. PS nothing was ever done to the mother for telling the girl to lie.

Ya know, i don't think the women in some of you younger guys age bracket are looking for good guys like you at all,even though you might be the best thing for them. They seem to be looking for the mysterious , smooth talking bad boy types I'v seen women in their 20's and 30's end up with looser bums who just hang around and spends all their hard earned money,they won't work and don't intend to work,and yet these women don't seem to mind that they have a nothing looser for a partner. even if they get rid of one they still choose these type guys again and again. can you figure that one out. I search all the time, and would a contact from women in their 40's and 50's, it just seems that there is this age dilemma and it’s is always a big deal with most women. I’m 60 in age, but much younger in mind and body, being a martial artist even though I’m an older big guy ,I’ve kept in good shape mentally and physically over the years,because i don't talk any RX meds. I guess being around younger people like my sons and daughters friends and the fact that I manage his rock band , write rock music plus listen to rock bands like AC/DC, Disturbed, Slipknot, 3doors down just to name a few, turn older women off. I’m just being an honest person and my profile is who I am, and I’m not asking anyone to marry me . And very few of the women in there 50’s even bother to contact me .instead I get contacted by much younger women, women in there 20’s and 30’s,( but not so from this site yet). I don’t know ,I think us guys who try to put our best and our worst self out there in a profile, have done all we can do. But were not the complicated ones out here. If you will notice all the women’s profiles read about the same. I'd like to know what a woman's like when she first gets up in the morning,because that's when their true colors come out,lol

The blackthorn rose is fokelore about white roses that bloom from a dead thorn bush with 3 inch long black thorns,and only brings forth it's live blooms on Christmas Eve,and returnes to it's orginal state before morning,the white roses are cursed and are not supposed to be picked the thorn bush is said to be the same type thornes they used to make the crown of thorns the solders shaved down on Jesus head.
