Have to admit i didn't know what the Midnight Express was but afterr googling it & seeing it's along Istiklal Caddesi ( the main shopping street in Istanbul i must have passed it. But sorry cannot remember it as trip was about 4 years ago now.





Yes it certainly is a great city. I got to see the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar & loads of other great places. Highlight was probably just hopping on a ferry not knowing or caring where it was going as they are so cheap

There were 2 accidents/incidents on the M6 enroute to Birmingham Airport so i missed my flight

Didn't fancy going home in a really bad mood so just carried on up to Blackpool & got a b&b for a couple of days instead
