umm i grew up with half my class immigrants and yes they were legal....but i dont think people realize how hard it is to stay in this country doing it legal....my friends have been working on becoming citizens for at least 12-14 yrs some of them....they have to come and leave the country every few months .....the law is makin it hard 4 legal ppl to come who are honest and looking to start a new life....but yet illegal ppl come and then are granted amnesty...there is no reward for obeying the law or trying to...something is wrong....the government should let the right ppl in and dont make their lives harder than what they all ready are...because not everyone is an enemy....
