RE: Is sacrificing animals ok in 21st century?It seems backward

a certain religion has this obligation to sacrify animals like cows, goats,camels and lambs annually. even i am a strong muslim, but i truly cant agree to this rules and feel so pity for all those animals which were sacrified thousands even millions all over the world in one time for such a not make sense purpose, i believe God didnt order human to sacrify animals massively in wrong way, only human mistreated His command. it's not about religion and i dont oppose this religion as i am one of its strong believer too, only cant really agree to this teach. why we human can have mercy to other living creatures, let just use and eat their meats wisely.
