Exactly. The emotional loading of guilt is not why we give. We shouldn't feel coerced into giving because it stains the joy. The false sense of elation we feel after the pressure of release flies with the dollar irks me no end.
Of Words Through involving ourselves in all Sorts of high minded words (study, romance, poetry, intrigue and law) We will feel a sense of growing, A sense of becoming; self created. We become a mortal being A conceited self-knowing creature, In a complicated shell of flesh; Separated by words from the Word In our heart.
So we are condemned to live Escaping and drowning in a sea of words; We are afraid - to give up words; Especially Bible words Because in our pride we think - We have the real salvation; When we only have the words about it.
As many words as we can experience, That much "salvation" do we feel, Enveloping our soul with evolving flesh, It can feel like forever - until, Our ego reaches the end, Of flesh - fulfillment and imprisonment And we are forced to see the truth, Of our supreme folly.
