hi, this is your profile, so there is nothing wrong in writing what you want to write, however, you are asking for reactions so here goes. You say on your profile that you are a writer, so can you not put yourself across using other words, for instance, "been through times, but come out stronger" as indeed many have, the funny smart telling jokes creating character bits are ok, as are just describing your personality......the last bit, we are all one in a million but for a multitude of different reasons....
Does this apply in all cases, as in, not taking into account the character/personality of the male female in question? Do you think all women would prefer "sugar coated" or do you not think if some are actually asking for the advise, they may not prefer a frank honest response? Of course the opposite may be true, as in if the male is a sensitive type? nb, I am not a feminist in case you are wondering, but think that both genders have various character traits and this should be recognised.
Agreed again....I do take into account that some people are more capable as obviously we are all different characters and have differing life experiences to draw from, will even go as far as to say that balance doesn't even have to be 50/50, as some are lifes natural givers, some takers, however, some balance has to be found as I think that is applicable in most areas of life.
I am as loving giving caring compassionate person as any, however, I taught my children that it is good to be able to look after and do for ourselves, and not expect others to do for us, that way we are best placed to share. I believe in tough love, best to show people that they can do for themselves, they sometimes just have to dig deep to realise it.
I hear you, I refer to these people as "forever victims" they become reliant on others to aide them with their problems, be they emotional practical or whatever, they look for someone else to do everything for them. " emotional vampires" is another term I think of, taking others strength and giving nothing in return.
Is something I have only in my recent years become aware of, as I am an Empath, and as such have been naturally drawn to such people. I cant change me, as is true to me, however, I now have to take into account that my strength should only be given to those ( by way of support) if they are also actually trying to help them selves, if not, stay well away.

I like this observation and agree...although is not so easy to find such if your own personality is very strong!
