RE: Marooned on a deserted island

Knowing my luck, I probably would have purchased, for the very first time in my life, a lottery ticket. Fortunately though, I would never have known that it was the winning ticket for a multi-million dollar jackpot...

RE: What would u like to do with the rest of ur life ?

You totally made that up, just to "win" the discussion, hoping that nobody in this international forum would know better. There is no minimum wage in Switzerland, and a lot of people make less than 20$/h. Plus, since everything is much more expensive than in most other places around the world, a lot of people are struggling to make ends meet. But it's true, they aren't poor in the sense that they're not homeless.

RE: PEOPLE DONT CHANGE.THEY JUST FIND NEW WAYS TO LIE TO YOU.

For the last 5-10 years, I've been trying to become a better person in some ways, and I guess that I have succeeded to a certain extent. Of course, you can still say that this hasn't changed who I am, but only my behaviour, and maybe, under the right (or wrong) circumstances, I would go back to being my old self, unwillingly.

But, even if I believe that some people can change, at least to a degree, I would never count on someone to change for ME, and this an important distinction, especially in a relationship. Do not think that the person you love will work on his/her flaws because of her/his love for you, that never happens. People only ever change for themselves, usually after a series of events in their lives makes them think about themselves, or something extreme happens, or whatever, but I don't think a lot of guys quit drinking because their wives/gf's asked them to....

RE: who would win in a REAL street fight?

I don't know about the other two clips (at least the one with the cigarette seems doable), but the table tennis thing is just very well put together clips of people playing the game and Bruce playing with his Nunchucks...

Now, to the original question, Chuck vs Chuck (Lidell vs Norris). I think it would be pretty unfair: if I'm not mistaken, Lidell was a light heavyweight (max weight at weigh-in: 205 pound), while Norris is not very big (5'10 according to Wiki). UFC-Fighters of his stature and height usually fight at 155, or 170 pounds at most (e.g. Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor, Rafael DosAnjos, Donald Cerrone, Benson Henderson). So, even if they could have fought while both in their prime, Lidell would have manhandled Norris, the difference in size would have been to much.

Let me just add, for those who don't know, Norris is (or at least was) a serious fighter: Most people know that he has a blackbelt in Karate (that doesn't necessarily mean a lot), but he also has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which he got from the Gracie family (he trained with Helio Gracie himself, and his sons), and this is a serious martial art, every MMA-fighter has to know at least the basics of Jiu-Jitsu. He trained in some other martial arts as well (I forgot which ones), and the he also trained with Bruce Lee, for those who haven't seen the movie where they fight each other in the Coliseum in Rome - go watch it!
