This has already been done by the Catholic Church.....Constantine (Ruler of Rome) started the Catholic Church in 325 AD...he mixed all the pagan religions with Christianity to bring them all together. The word catholic means " universal". It is not true Christianity as described in the Bible. It is deception. For the truth.....check this site....www.graceandtruth.net. It's absolutely amazing to me how many people do not know or understand God. This is of course is due to the fact that most people do not study the word of God. All the answers to all the questions that man can muster can be answered by the word of God. It is our instruction manual for life and how to live it. I blame the churches for not teaching people the truth....but then....according to the word of God (The Bible) God says "Let no man teach you." He will do the teaching....but you have to do the studying! We (the human race) can not get the truth from any of these "translations" of the Bible. You have to go to the original text to find the truth of what God has meant for us to hear and understand. The Bible was originally written in Hebrew (Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament). When it was translated into the English language...the meaning of many of the words has changed the original message. We are being mislead by all the churches in this present time. We are as God has said "In the Last Days". Deception is being fed to the populous, and people are flocking to eat it up. It makes people feel good!!!! Yes ..we have people running our governments. Who is it that is in control of this world? God says that Satan is.....so that is why we have such hatred and kaos in the world.....coupled with the fact that the majority of people in this world will not take the time to look for the truth of what God has for us. The whole world can fall apart around me...and I will still be at peace. Because I have spent the last 30 years looking for the truth in the word of God...and he has blessed me with understanding. In fact....most people do not know this simple thing. The word "faith" in the original Greek language means "to understand". How can anyone understand anything if you have not studied to find the answers? You won't get these answers by going to church...I don't care if you go 3 times a week.......you will be going in "VAIN". For the best resource of Greek and Hebrew study I recommend this web site......www.graceandtruth.net. You won't get any frills or be entertained there....you will get the truth as defined by the original Greek and Hebrew words of God. You will be amazed at the differences that are there.
