Mmmm...I gave up on a girl 11 years younger than me, about 10 years ago. I was 35,and I felt that she had much still to experience, at 24; so, I let her go - even though she didn't want to split up.
Were it the present (where she is 35 - I wouldn't 'jump ship' so quickly. My point is, that I think it's different, when both parties are older. The gap (11 years) closes, or appears smaller, somehow, perhaps??
