It does depend on the reasons but generally I find it difficult to go back....will there be trust? does a leopard change its spots? Good luck whatever you decide.

Welcome to CS. I have recently rejoined after being on here for a few years and I have to say I have met good and bad...unfortunately the bad experiences make you less trusting of everyone even the good guys. I would say if a guy comes on and gives you his life story and swears he has never seen a woman as beautiful as you and his heart misses a beat when he looks at your photo and you are the woman he has been waiting for all his life as he feels a connection with you already......its. We are all a little flattered by this but realistically how can someone say those things without knowing you, so get to know them, chat and email, dont give out your email or personal details til you feel secure and in my view if a guy doesnt post a photo then I dont think he deserves my time. Dont be afraid to report who you think are scammers as its taken seriously (forums normally dont encourage scammers as most of them cant really read and write!)

However, I have met and still have some good friends on CS so I am not saying its all bad at all and agree with the others that the forums are a great way of communicating and having fun. Enjoy, be aware and I hope you have some fun on here....

I recently went out with a guy I met online for lunch, when the bill came.....15.60 for two of us I got my money out as he did and I said shall we put 10 euros in each, he agreed and put his other 10 back in his pocket. I didnt assume he would pay as this was our first meeting but when he said he would go and get the change!!! TIGHT or what, neeedless to say he didnt go back for the change and I never saw him again.
