I'm sorry to hear that you seem to have had such miserable experiences with so many of the men in your life. I suppose that saying something doesn't make it so, and there is plenty of evidence to suggest that glitzy advertising is no guarentee of a quailty product. Tom Hanks, in his role as Forest Gump quotes his mother using a very cogent observation .."..stupid is as stupid does.." I guess the same can be said about "nice" guys.
Don't be afraid to take another chance. You will discover the truth, and there really are some genuinely nice people out there.
Ireland would be the place. It would be a toss up between somewhere on the Dingle Penninsula in Co. Kerry, or the Sheepshead Penninsula in Co. Cork.Definately in the Southwest. However it's a small country and if I had wheels it's all accessible.
I too would rate Ireland as my ideal destination. I have been fortunate enough to visit the Emerald Isle six times over the past decade, and I never tire of the scenery, the lifestyle, or the Irish people. The Dingle Peninsula in Co. Kerry hold a particularly special place in my heart, and if you go there, do visit Great Blasket Island.
That's always been a puzzle to me. I own a mirror...so I live under no illusions ! hahaha!!! I think maybe it's my sense of humour, my ability to find a funny side in almost any situation, and my ability to make people laugh. I tend to be able to put people at ease, and make them want to confide in me. I am a good listener I am told. I am possessed of a certain degree of intelligence, which some find attractive. I guess you'd have to ask my friends to get a definitive answer.
