Drop the long introduction about the other dating site and hard times dating in bars. Start with your likes and try to find a tone that makes you special - this is what a potential partner will look for. Be yourself, but not universal. Good luck.

I see you have accepted some wise counsel already but at the moment your profile is fine. My only qualm is your profile review introduction " can I make myself more interesting? " - What I would say is " What you think of my profile - How do I come across? - Subtle difference but first one asks for negative and second says this is me but I will listen to what others will say.
