Is 47 too old to get marry?

I was with some of my friends and most of them are a lot younger at my age but look very matured. One of them was telling me that at my age ( 47 ), it would be very hard for me to find someone who will marry me. I know it was a joke but it kinda hurt me somehow. I am divorced for more than 12 years and it was my choice to stay single. I want your honest opinion please..
