More About Me
I grew up in the outback on a sheep & cattle station, something I'm eternally thankful for as it was a great life and gave me an appreciation for so many aspects of my country and life in general. However, I am now more urbanized and have my home in the Swan Valley, amongst the vineyards, still a little rural, private & peaceful but close to Perth city - the best of both worlds. I'm an open and trusting person who can mix quiet comfortably in all circles, a good communicator who enjoys talking as well as listening - communication's extremely important to me both socially and within a relationship so it'd be fair to say I'm looking for a partner who is similar. I am a man who enjoys giving and receiving affection as well as also being very strong on honesty, trust and truth - can't tolerate deceitful dishonest people. I definitely appreciate women and because I know who I am within myself, I need to neither control nor dominate, preferring to "walk beside" - however, this doesn't mean I'm submissive, far from it. I just respect ability and intelligence in women and would love to find a great lady to be my partner. I'm a happy and well adjusted person who loves a good laugh and much prefers to engage in stimulating conversation with intelligent people about real events rather than dissecting some mindless TV show. I enjoy cooking, especially if it's a shared experience and love putting a feed together for family and friends. I'd love to find a loving and honest lady who's values and ethics are in line with mine, who enjoys intimacy and sharing life's journey, has the courage to step outside the square. Likes the country, weekends away, motorbikes, camping and open to ... well, anything that's fun.
The absolute "Ideal match" would be a woman who could and would, come with me when I go bush for work. Sometimes camping, sometimes in accommodation (showers and all - but even camping, I do it pretty well - there is ALWAYS a shower) Which doesn't mean she has to stay for the full time - there are planes and roads home from pretty much anywhere.
