I'm a geek. If there is something that falls into this category, chances are I like it. I love sci-fi and fantasy. I also like a lot of pop culture, so don't be surprised to hear quotes from things like Monty Python or Arrested Development.
I'm a bit of a computer and science nerd. I can get most things to work and am quite handy at solving tech problems. But don't worry, I'm not about to bore you with techno-babble. I have much better things to talk about. But it makes me pretty handy to have on a trivia team.
I love board games and making models, if it's small, I think it's cool.
I've had a go at almost everything that can be made or created. I love to feed my passion to create. I'm very much the embodiment of the saying "Jack of all trades, master of none." As in, I can do most things, but don't want to pigeonhole myself to once specific skill. I like to keep pushing my personal boundaries and trying new things.
I play inline hockey a couple of nights a week (think ice hockey, but warmer).
I volunteer for a local youth mental health organisation, promoting awareness and running events.
I try not to take things too seriously, so can be quite silly. And I am quite liberal with my sense of humor, so I am sure to make you laugh. I love puns and making "dad jokes" as well. A sense of humour is a must, as it will compliment my silliness and cheeky demeanor.
I tend to be a bit shy at first. But once I get to know someone, I can come out of my shell and be a really great person to be around.
I'm very caring towards everyone and everything. I'm environmentally conscious, but not a hippy. I love animals and care for them whenever I can. I currently have a large amount of guinea pigs who I adore and cherish. I'm just a big softy.
