I have much to offer in a relationship. Kind of a regular guy with bouts of pretensions(I don't take any meds for that). I am a good listener, curious, empathic, enjoy helping, honest, caring and want to understand all the layers of a person. I am introspective, curious, sensitive, witty, intelligent and open. While not a excitement junkie, I would prefer the unusual, unique experiences where I learn something new rather than taking a familiar beaten path. More on the introvert side of the scale, I can be quite content, say hiking or listening to vinyl in my basement alone but I also realize most activities are often best shared with someone special. I am politically liberal, socially and environmentally conscious and as I get older find myself valuing family, close friends and my time that much more. My spirituality centers on being mindful and in the present. Not one to stand on ceremony, I have a rebellious, adolescent side. I don't physically feel my age and have energy to burn, often looking for a place to direct it. I like to see the humor in things and find that truly laughing and being joyful with someone to be such a fulfilling experience. I am also hard working and have a busy, stable career that can be demanding but I gotta do what I gotta do. My current favorite activities include being in nature, hiking, exploring new places to eat and drink craft beer, reading, cooking a new recipe, listening to live music, taking in city and cultural experiences. Ideally looking for someone who is open minded, has a sense of humor, reasonably athletic, independent, intellectually curious, confident, emotionally grounded who shares/appreciates similar interests to mine but can challenge me with new ideas.
