My fantasy is to go live in a lighthouse on the coast of Newfoundland.
During the day I’d take long walks along the water on the grassy hills and look out as far as my eyes can see.
I’d sit and listen to crashing waves.
In the afternoons, wrapped in a soft blanket, I’d write and sip tea.
I have a friend who has been to Newfoundland. My fantasy perplexes him. He knows I like warm weather and assures me Newfoundland is too windy and cold for warm-weather creatures like me.
