More About Me
Instead of growing old, I look at myself more as someone mature and wise in making decisions and doubly enjoying what life has to offer. I'm not the kind of fiftysix-year-old who's preparing herself to be old and retired in a couple of years, I'd rather indulge in a new chapter of my life and the adventure and mystery that comes with it.
I live in Belgium, a stable and rather safe European country. Most of Belgium is made up of concrete and bricks, however. I also have my own brick house with a green garden to escape to. In general, Belgian people are nice, but tend to be snobs, which I find rather tedious. We love good food and drinks though! The Belgian climate is, unfortunately, a fickle one, with lots of rainy, cold and windy days and only a few weeks of hot temperatures, which I always look forward to. I enjoy a much more warm climate.
I love to be around lush nature and finding peace there, not stressing out over trivialities. I travel a lot and especially enjoyed my trips to a few Carribean Islands, several states in the USA and South-Africa.
I have two adult daughters (they live on their own) and I am free to go wherever fate will bring me, so to speak. I could find dating partners all over the world, but I'd rather find one who lives in a place that appeals to me.
I like cooking (I'm a vegetarian), baking, reading, writing stories, traveling, boating, the beach, nature, animals. I own two small rescue dogs. I am not lean or mean. I have several extra pounds, but carry them with a lust for life!
