More About Me
I'm honest and loyal, sometimes almost to a fault. What you see is what you get. Having never been married, I'm independent and self-sufficient and enjoy my time alone with all my projects, so I’m not the needy type nor a serial dater. I can be romantic and affectionate, but it takes that special person with the right chemistry to bring it out in me. I enjoy cooking, especially grilling when someone else is around. I'm also a good handy man and know how to work with machines and tools and can fix most things around the house. Since childhood I’ve had an intense passion for the natural world, so I have chosen a path with heart. As a photographic artist of the landscape my work has been widely collected and keeps me busy out in the field or in the studio making fine art prints that are sold through galleries. So, there’s been few opportunities of meeting new people outside my craft. I can be shy and reclusive at first, but once I get to know someone it’s hard to shut me up (I’m always full of questions). For the most part I’m rather easy going, so I don’t do well around drama queens. A good sense of humor is a must. My political views are progressive, which can exist on either side of the aisle. Generally, I believe in what benefits the greater good rather than an elite-winner-take-all attitude. Over the years I have hiked, skied and climbed mountains, competed in sports, running and weights, but a few injuries that come with age (knees) have slowed me down a bit. However, I still keep active, as there’s a lot more to explore and achieve.
I would like to find someone special of similar orientation as myself who is fairly easy going but challenges me, doesn’t take themselves too seriously, has a strong spirit with a great sense of humor, likes exploring, road trips and loves Arizona and the Sonoran desert.
