To say that one is looking for something, is to imply that one is without. And if a person is without, then the question is what is lacking. Today many people have been given over to a mind that is reprobate and empty, only looking to satisfy a feeling. I am not blind to understand that God have given woman a package that contains emotional instabilities but God have given man love, to be able to offer strength and stabilities to a woman (his wife) and his family.
Too many time in a relationship the roles of the man and woman are reversed and out of order. So, before a person can honestly know what they are seeking, that person must look to God to find the answer. It is commanded to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be given unto you. But therein lies the problem, not many want to seek God’s kingdom.
For myself I would be lying if I say that I am without any faults, and I would rather speak the truth in love than to declare a lie in deceit. I am not seeking the favor of men (or women) but the favor of God. For only my God can and will give what is needed in order that He may be glorified.
