Im thinking maybe just maybe there is a nice lady out there somewhere that wouldnt mind hanging out with a guy that gets his kicks doing simple things like sitting on the shore of the lake with a camera watching the colors pop at sunset Maybe one who enjoys a day spent rummaging around at flea markets or yard sales looking for that road show treasure .
Or just going for a nice destination unknown ride in the country with a blanket and a picnic basket at the ready .
And of course there is always a movie playing or a new place to eat to check out . How about cheering my boy on at a softball game or a round of golf on a sunday afternoon . I can think of quite a few things that would be enjoyable with the right lady by my side . The problem is finding the right lady,to be compatable with me she would need to be a little country a little city have a great sense of humor a great smile and a good heart . She would have to know that my kids and family are very important to me and when they need me I drop everything to be there for them . She would have to have lived and learned that life isnt a fairy tale ,that sometimes you hit a few bumps along the way and it takes devotion and understanding to get through the rough patches and that sometimes it takes two to make it work . She would need to be strong enough to make it on her own but have a sincere desire to share life with someone by her side Most of all she would have to put up with me . I have my share of quirks, I have some dents and dings, a little rust and I smoke I didnt end up where I had always planned, life happened and I have had to start again from nothing, it has made me humble and wiser but I feel I emerged a better man .
