Like most people I'm an awkward blend of painfully simple and irritatingly complicated. I was gifted with a sharp intellect but paid for it by having dull ambition. I like working with my hands and playing with my mind. I'm not exactly a geek but most of my interests are.
A Viking Cowboy Pagan Punk in both philosophy and aesthetic I'm admittedly not for most people to take in all at once. I pride myself on my tenacity, loyalty, and honesty when dealing with those deserving of respect. I equally pride myself on my willingness to take advantage of people I think are shits if I have to just to get buy.
I am on ocassion emotionally detached. I sort of have trouble recognizing that people are in fact people and not some sort of bleating ambulatory meat shrubbery until I've been able to have a real conversation with them. My thinky parts know it but my feeling reacty parts just can't manage empathy with a person before I interact with them.

First off I'm often described as awkward, funny, stubborn, rediculous, caring and, rude, inappropriate and, opinionated.

Buh.. This one is even harder but I'm going to give it a try...
Generally speaking i find normalcy somewhat antithetical, It's not that i don't like normal people it's that i tend to rub them the wrong way and either can't relate to them or find them boring.
I don't do well with girls that are particularly 'girly' and tend more towards tomboys, soft butches, Riot grrls... Basically any sort of strong independent type. If you're less Donna Reed/Mary Tyler Moore and more Rosie the Riviter well probably get along great.
Also as a general rule i go for counter/sub-culture types. Punks, goths, geeks metal heads, rockabilly, basically if you have weird super colorful hair, some ink, and metal in your face I'm probably game.
Now that types out of the way i'll move on to what I'm looking for..
Basically i have no idea. Human connection? I'm not in a rush to re marry and if we're being perfectly honest I'm a little awkward to date because I'm a spaz. Mostly i'm just looking for someone i can enjoy a conversation with weather it's on a couch, a barstool, or in the booth of an all night diner. Anything above and beyond that is cool but not something i think about in advance
