It's been a long time since I have been in this situation. I was married for 13 1/2 yrs. but lost my wife to liver failure due to stage 4 breast cancer. I was a devoted husband and father. I had the ultimate fairy tale romance. I have a sense of humor (I am an incredible flake but in a good way) I'm an old fashioned romantic (candle light dinners ,opening doors and holding hands in public). Anyways I could write a book on romance but I'll stop here and let you imagine the ending...lol. I got to thinking though what good is it to be a romantic if can't share it with someone. I have a lot of love to give and no one to give it to. There is God and there is family and I value them both very strongly. And yes I have a 12 year old son and he is my pride and joy.
