More About Me

Once we have chatted, we can decide if we have enough in common to want to become acquainted. It would definitely be nice to meet a kindred spirit.

I have photos that I might share, if it seems we may have a connection. If we do not, there is no reason to share. Personally, looks mean very little to me, as long as you do not look like my ex.

I have an autoimmune disease which causes a lot of inflammation (psoriatic arthritis), which has been worsening without the cannabis that I can no longer grow due to my health. The lack of cannabis also negatively impacts my fibromyalgia and the pain from severe osteoarthritis. I was born with scoliosis and I have severe spinal stenosis which limits my mobility. Our corrupt system is happy to supply dangerous pain medications instead of the cannabis which is beneficial and harmless.

I still make everything home made. The only things I buy in cans are foods one cannot get another way, like coconut milk or canned milk for baking.

I am stubborn and adaptable. I have learned to mow the lawn while using my cane, and I can put on my socks without using my hands when my back is too bad to bend at all.

I share my home with my youngest son, who came back a year ago from a dozen years in the city. He is working at restoring my neglected, overgrown gardens. The next project is to move raspberry canes into a new location and mulch them with cardboard and straw so they do not get taken over by grass and weeds again. He and his siblings learned to cook and bake from their mean old mom, so it is handy when I am not up to it. He can still make bread, although he has not yet tried the recipe I came up with in recent months, for the new bread I have started to make. It is an 8 grain bread with lots of seeds, nuts and hemp hearts, with molasses to give it a nice flavor and extra nutrition.

I hope I will know him when I see him. One can never be sure until they meet in person, that there is potential for a solid connection.
