My glass is definitely 2/3 full. I’ve finally found what I’m good at. I have a wonderful quality of life. I’m very lucky. I live for today. The dog gets me out & about regularly but I also try to travel, sail, kayak a when I can.
I feel drawn to life as a family man. Offspring has passed me by so far, but I loved playing house husband for several years in an 18 relationship.
Although I'm not mad about cooking, I love to support my partner in any way I can & found myself loving this life. I understood for the first time the rather sexist phrase 'a woman's work is never done'
So the cooking has slid a little, now it's just the dog & I ( she's not fussy..) but I'm still very keen on healthy food & have an organic veg box delivered regularly. I have a couple of 'signature' dishes! They all seem to revolve around garlic, cheese, tomatoes!
My proportions are always for at least 2 so if I do cook for myself, at least there's something for the freezer.
I play a lot of music. My job is teaching & gigging. Any spare moments will see me on my latest toy. Just now drums & piano seem to be dominating things.
I love cuddling up with someone special to watch something on the iPlayer. . I tend not to like mainstream TV & I don't have a telly. I love theater, gigs, cinema too.
