I am looking for a kind intelligent man who has a good sense of humor and appreciates one in others. I prefer casual, but not to the point of wearing ones pants halfway down the butt so favored by the twenty something crowd. (Sorry, pet peeve). So the jeans and neat shirt look is cool as that is how I largely dress (but yes I clean up nicely and wear skirts occasionally). I might as well say this upfront, I really don't like cheap men. NO, I am not looking for someone to support me or even always has to pick up the check. By way of illustration as to why I am so blunt about this is that I have been on dates whereby the guy has "magnanimously" told me to order what I like off the specials menu or or tells me he wants to split his meal with me. Yes, the above has occurred. These men did not get a second date. I am not trying to carve out how you should act just letting trying to be direct enough to screen appropriately. I hope you will be equally direct about what traits really get on your nerves. I truly like a gentleman I try not to swear and hope he tries to do the same (slips are okay, I have them too). I prefer a man who is at least 45 without kids or grown kids. Looks are not my number one priority, consideration on others, humor and intellect as stated above are much more important.
