I am a survivor. I survived being on my own from the age of 13. I survived abusive marriage, I survived a marriage that my spouse was addicted to drug/alcohol abuse. I stayed clean. I survived nursing school. I raised two kids independently as a single mom. I survived medical complications such as a stroke, stage three renal failure, congestive heart failure, and needing three months of chemotherapy for aggressive RA. I survived losing someone that meant the world to me. I still have a positive attitude that gets me through each day. I believe I am still here because I haven't met my female soulmate yet.
