Is this crazy? Bearing our soles to strangers (the world) in ways we rarely do to those around us. What are we doing? We're searching for intimacy and look to what lengths it has taken us. Let me start with qualities I'm attracted to: Intelligence, Curiosity, Compassion, Communication, Calmness/Presence, Humor, Athletic and Simplicity. Simplicity (not being simple) is especially important to me, since it makes seeing what’s important easier.
We all would like to finding our complementary half, our partner. (it's why we are here, right?!?!) It's been a pursuit dating back to antiquity:

Sounds nice, but is it possible? Honestly, I see many relationships surviving rather than thriving these days; sadly, my last one was one of them. A possible side-effect of too much caffeine, complexity and too little connection? Hard to tell. Though, I believe a fun, well-grounded relationship is the best antidote.

Nature, family and friends are very important to me. They bring me back to basics, are my foundation and something tangible in this ever changing world. I'm very optimistic about life and people.
