Deep down I am simple, enjoying good conversation during walks and traveling by car or train (I especially like the train. I think it is romantic, but I'm not sure why). I absolutely love to laugh and am most happy when I know my mate is happy too. I am a father of 2 boys (14 and 16). They are the most important thing in my life and they make me very proud. However, I cannot and should not rely on them for all of my happiness. I would also enjoy being happy around a companion for life (that's a movie reference if you'd like to guess).
I work hard but have time to play hard too. I enjoy exercising and working on my old house. I also enjoy car trips to National Parks and other places I've never yet been.
I believe I'm open to new things- places, activities, or food (especially food), and would enjoy being introduced to your interests (possibly even yoga- haha- if you knew me you'd get the joke- tight hamstrings).
I'm a night owl, but would obviously adjust. I like naps, but sometimes am up for very long periods of time. I've got great stories to tell (lots of different careers and events- should be a movie!), but would love hearing yours more. My match? Someone who is earnest. What does that mean? I suppose it means someone that is simple, deep down, too. Someone who can find enjoyment out of a trip to the museum, or an ice-cream cone. I want to find someone who is beautiful, not just pretty, or hot, or sexy, or whatever you want to say. Beautiful people are that way because they are unselfish, they are compassionate, they are friendly. Are you beautiful? Perhaps it is hard for someone to say that they are those things, that would be immodest. But I do like a sarcastic sense of humor as well so I would give you the benefit of the doubt.
