While I am in my sixties, I remain active. Each work day I bicycle twenty kilometers when going to and from my college. I enjoy outdoor actives such as hiking, gardening, traveling, playing sports, and sightseeing. When I am able, I am active, but I also enjoy more attending concerts (classical music), the ballet, visiting museums, trying out new restaurants and revisiting old favorites, reading, drinking coffee (very much), playing games (dominoes, and so on), and cooking. All of this is to say that I am not one to sit at home and watch television (in fact I do not own a television). Perhaps on the negative side, I have been married twice. My second marriage was very short and I have lived on my own for over ten years now. In that time I think I have gained insights about myself and have learned lessons that i am confident enough to seek out someone who wishes to spend the rest of her life with me.
