I am fairly conservative in tastes and temperament, if not necessarily in politics (where it doesn't always mean that anymore). I love Nature, science, and Classical Music. I also like American, Latin American, and European folk music, especially German and British Isles. I love to read; mostly Physics, Paleontology, Ecology and the Environment, animal behavior, history, Theology, and biblical studies; but also about European and Native American cultures, current events, and various other subjects. I would really like to read more classic English and German literature; especially William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Heinrich Heine, Johann Peter Hebel, James Fenimore Cooper, and the Romantics.
I very strongly believe that in addition to conserving our natural and other resources, protecting our climate, and conserving and preserving biodiversity, all of which we _must_ do; we must also conserve and preserve our values. I very strongly believe in multiculturalism, even cultural relativism, and that people in other cultures, including Native American cultures, _must_ be allowed to keep their traditional values, as they choose and as how the Holy Spirit moves them; but the flip side is that we should remain true to the values which the Holy Spirit has written on our hearts, including any of such that we were brought up with; and that includes freedom of conscience. It is tragic that too many on "both" sides of the political/cultural divide are too eager to trample on that.

Occupation
I volunteer at a museum. So far I have been cleaning and putting number labels on slides. I hope to go on to more. I hope that it leads to a paying job, in the meantime I am looking for that.
