Once again, I have to make it perfectly clear, as I'm getting too many responses that don't work for me.
If you don't have a photo. If you have short hair or are bald. If you live too far - like more than 100 miles. These are MINIMUM considerations...without them, I DO NOT RESPOND.
I'm a nyctophile (look it up!), fantasist, lived an unusual life, have great stories. I read, write, paint & color. I love music, movies, TV shows, art, history & my 2 pet rabbits. I don't look or act my age.
MY #1 CRITERIA: I have a thing about long hair, so if you're bald, partially bald or have very short hair, PLEASE DON"T CONTACT ME! I'm just not attracted. I know what I like & want, and don't want to waste my time (or yours) dismissing profile after profile, seeking those who fit. I guess that means old hippies, non-conformists and younger men.
SECONDARY CONSIDERATIONS: I have no interest in anyone in the military, or other races or ethnicities. I don't have, want, or even like children - so if you're a parent with kids at home, I'm not a match for you.
I'm not looking for marriage, long-term relationships or attachments, just casual dating, hookups, local friends. I don't have a car and don't travel, so if you are far from where I live, that's also a factor.
Please, please, PLEASE - read it again before you think there's common ground here - more likely than not, there isn't. I appreciate your interest, and wish you luck with your search.
I don't believe in an 'ideal' match. My preferred type is 'rock star' - skinny white guys with long hair. Men my age don't usually fit this, but I do occasionally make exceptions depending on what else the person is all about. Looks aren't that important - it's just the hair thing. I like a person with intellectual capacity - dialog, discussion & debate. Wry sense of humor. Great if you're also into scifi, fantasy, thriller, horror genres in writing, movies, etc. Comfortable in your own skin. And sexually compatible: I'm still very active and you must be able to keep up with (or exhaust!) me. All areas open for exploration: I don't embarrass or offend easily, so feel free to ask me anything.
According to Ancestry, I am pretty much purely Celtic, of Irish/English/Scottish/Welsh descent
Emerson College, 1974 (B.A.)
I'm an atheist, but respect everyone's right to believe in whatever they wish. I just won't tolerate any proselytizing.
I am retired now, but have a varied & interesting work experience, much of it entrepreneurial. I currently am pursuing opportunities as a peer-support specialist.
