When going out for an evening, I prefer to not go to bars or taverns or night clubs. Dancing is not of interest to me but I've done it a few times. My choice would be a cozy restaurant that is not loud. But, since I'm not into night clubs, I'm not much for dancing, as that is usually done in nightclubs with lots of smokers and drinkers....

I also enjoy movies, usually drama or comedy or adventure, movies that don't rely on animation...
I like music of different genres, pop rock, blues, roots rock or folk rock, some alternative, Christian music, new age, etc, not into country or opera.
Going to the coast is fun too, specially when the weather is good. I have lived on the coast and done a lot of exploring in the central coast area.
I recently got a kayak and am good at kayaking. Also into boating with a power-boat, if with a partner who is into that.
In nice weather, i like to go motorcycle riding, in less traveled areas.
