I have one serious relationship for 28 yrs and have been used and mistreated for 70% of that time. I had a child with my ex and felt an obligation to stay in the relationship for the sake of keeping my kids parents together. I never laid a harmful hand on her, worked all day just to come home and cook for everyone and then clean the house. If i did not do it, then it did not get donw. I am loyal to a fault and try ro see rhw best in people even when it was hurtful for me. I ended up being sent to prison for fire arms and was left to do the time alone with no updates on how my kids are or communication of any kind.
