More About Me

First, lets get all my cards out on the table. I am a 56 y/o who has been diabetic for 45 years. In1983 I was hit head on by a drunk driver at 8:30 in the morning.Spent the next year and a half recovering and learning to walk. As a result of that accident I suffer from numerous orthopedic and arthritic problems. I had to retire on disability because of all these problems.
My mind however is not effected at all and I still love a stimulating conversation. I still love to travel, to fish, to sit and cuddle on the couch (but by myself, it just is not the same). I am middle of the road politically but lean towards a conservative side. I am a capitalist, an entrepreneur , an educator, and an accountant.I can sit and talk to someone over a cup of coffee for hours on end. I love Christmas, but my ex passed away in mid-December of 2010 and have been in the hospital for surgeries on several Christmas' since so have not yet recovered my fascination with the holiday. I collect Santa Claus statues. Enough about me, how about you?

Intelligent, not judgmental, loves to laugh, enjoys cuddling on the couch watching TV (please see previous comment). Must love animals from fish to dogs and cats to small ones like hamsters and ferrets ( I so want a pair of ferrets, I have a large cage and all). Loves rainstorms and snowstorms. Lightning is a bonus! I am not a fashion plate but can clean up and look good, usual dress is jeans and t-shirt. Enjoys cooking but not for just one, more fun with someone else.
