More About Me

At least 20 people used the word "sweet" in notes scribbled on the back pages of my high school annual, and now they would probably add "quiet and shy", but the right person (you?) can bring out my funny and slightly zany side, with a little prodding. My mountainside home/vacation rental near Asheville in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina is actually a Duplex my son and I co-own, which we're putting up for sale! The NEXT ADVENTURE will take me to Puerto Rico, so you can see I'm thinking just short-term relationships!

Might as well say I'm a Republican, even though half of the possible matches will immediately drop away. I also confess to creative and unconventional thinking that can get me into trouble, like the book I decided to write: "Is Jesus your God, or the SON of your God?", exposing the 'Jesus-Only movement' underfoot in most churches... but nowadays I just stick to playing with interior design, making plain houses beautiful and 'happy'.

I need someone who will treat me with gentleness and respect, someone I can joke and laugh with, but will be my protector. Years ago when I still knew how to play, I enjoyed golf, bowling and fishing, so it would be nice to get back to that - or even 'silly dancing' to the Oldies!
