I am an Asian American (Singaporean born ethnic Nepali) living in Maryland near DC. I enjoy the peace and quiet here, having lived in big cities throughout my life. Possess a penchant for hiking, and it would be nice to do it together with a companion.

I love books. One can find me in a corner of Barnes & Nobles without a care for the world around me, for hours beyond, over a book. Being a history buff, in my new neighborhood, I love that there are so many Civil War sites within driving distance. Gettysburg is one I tend to visit now. Speaking of visits, I have traveled to forty four countries thus far; no kidding, mostly backpacking (favorite being the south island in New Zealand). However, at this moment, I am focused on covering the states of this great nation; nineteen and counting. I'm a fan of classic movies and science fiction (yes, trekkie and gater). Nonetheless, I also prefer shows such as the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Arrow, Flash and Big Bang Theory. Music is for de-stressing, and I go for Pandora. Is it weird that, even though I'm a Buddhist, I love Christian Contemporary Music. I don't think so; rather, I would say I'm open minded.
