I am a mother of three, grandmother of three, widow, and an online writer in Ontario, Canada. I have written poetry and short stories since childhood; some have been published. I enjoy writing articles, copy and other online projects.
My taste in movies is rather eclectic. Love mysteries, horror, and Sci-fi. But I love all good fantasy, musicals, and romantic historic stories. I like most actors on in the movies and on television, Johnny Depp and Shemar Moore. I have a wide range of musical tastes and enjoy most of the music I have heard. I've been a huge fan of the Beatles since I first heard "Love Love Me Do" in the 1960's. I enjoyed a lot of the music, that came over the pond during the British Invasion. Nothing beats Benny Goodman and Glen Miller for swing, the Duke, Billy, and Ella for Jazz, Leadbelly and Muddy Waters for the Blues or Reba, and Clint Black for Country. The artists of recent years I enjoy are Nickelback, Adelle, Ed Sheeran, and Pink. I miss some of the artists that have passed away like Lou Rawls and Ray Charles. Listening to music has always been a part of my life.
I enjoy reading. I love historical novels, mystery, horror, science fiction, and psychological or sociological texts. If I am going to see a movie I try to read the book first or immediately after it. It adds to either; but very seldom both.
Love cooking, being outside watching my friend garden, writing, reading, taking my dog for a walk, dining out and watching dancers in person and on TV.
