I came to Costa Rica from the U.S. three years ago after a university career in child developmental research. I moved to Costa Rica because I was drawn to the peaceful lifestyle and lovely people, and wanted to surround myself in Nature. I also like the priorities of the government here: supporting worker’s rights, protecting the environment and lack of army. Swimming, hiking, boating and traveling are my favorite things to do. I enjoy having Tico friends as well as Gringo friends and am always in the process of improving my Spanish. My politics are very liberal and I attend a Course in Miracles group for my spiritual curiosity. I am a vegetarian and fabulous cook! I My two cats keep me good company but I enjoy dogs and other animals in general. I guess that's enough for now. After three years I feel ready to add someone to my wonderful new life.
