I am a happy, easy going, articulate and unassuming person, but shy and reserved until you get to know me. In the right company my kind , honest and friendly demeanour will easily win you over. Since retiring from teaching, I am now enjoying life more, as it gives me time to explore other interests that I did not have time for in the past. One example is painting, which has become a hobby, attending Summer schools, discovering my speciality is in oils. I used to sing in choirs and hope to do so again.
I also enjoy dancing, everything from line dancing to waltzing. I have yet to master the art of jiving.. For additional exercise, I like going for walks in the countryside.

I am hoping to meet someone that I can be friends with . It would be nice to be able to chat about life, current affairs ,our hopes and dreams and the usual challenges that life throws at us. I suppose kindness and thoughtfulness are qualities I would really appreciate and hope to reciprocate.
