It baffles me why the majority of women viewing my profile are,effectively, on the other side of the planet.
I've visited New York, Florida, and New Orleans; all pre-9/11. I would not countenance subjecting myself to the country's new, draconian, security measures. It is simply security "theatre", and largely ineffective. The United States is more at-risk from home-grown malcontents like Tim McVeigh; people who've never had a passport, never left the country, and likely couldn't find Belgium on a map.
That's what unfettered capitalism does to people. I recall, sitting in Amsterdam, watching the towers come down; the end of an era for international travel. Sadly, followed by the end of Concorde.
So, look. But, don't expect me to fly West.
