why do people have to be so abusive

i cant understand somepeopl they just seem to love to abuse others for the hell of it. they seem to get a really kick out of picking whatever the person has to say to bits an making the person feel very attacked to the point they are point of for even
speacking at all. is it cause these peple themselfs are so unhappy they have to attack others to make them selfs feel good. iam getting to the point of going off this site as sick of being verbal attacked wither it be in enails all the chat room.
