Today at work I told my co-worker, "I hope Mr Strip Club Owner goes to your window. I am just not feelin' it today".
Well, as it turns out, Mr. Strip Club Owner stepped right up in front of me and I had no choice but to help him even though my cold tablet left me with an out-of-body feeling.
All went well and I pretended to be quite competent handling the transaction. Upon completion, he asked me if I had any plans for the weekend.
I thought to myself and then spoke the truth, "No, nothing, just work. and you?" I asked.
He then explained how he was cleaning house and has had numerous garage sales. Finally, he told me that the last of his things will go to a charity thrift store.
I stood there, eyes wide, my brain clearing a little space where the fog has settled. It was as if someone had taken some canned air and blown into my skull. My brain gave a pump, plumped up like rooster and I couldn't help myself saying:
"I bet you have some cool stuff!"
