3Way Win Goals or 3Ws this is what, when, and why which gives you the who that provides the how.
Firstly the goal is set out with what and then when followed by why which gives you the who that provides the how.
The First part of the goal is the word What and that is to be specific or very clear on what it is that you want.
Now second part is the when which is the time bound part. So now that is about what day and year after this follows the third part and that is the why which is the relevant, reason, or purpose.
Now this gives you the who which provides the how and this is the attainable part of a smart goal. This is where the difference comes into the way 3Ws goal is set.
The very fact that it gives you the who which provides the how.
As for smart goal it does not really do that in this way.
So this leads to a question how does what, when, and why give you the who which provides the how?
Well this is the great part of the 3Ws as it flows from what, who, when, how and why because you know what you want which helps you to tell you who it is that you need and they give it to you when you want it and for the reasons why you want it.
But is it the right who and are they providing it when you want it and are they giving it to you for the reason why you want it?
A good questions which are reason for bringing the 3Ws together with S.M.AR.T goal providing a combined moving force behind the goal but also helps to aim at where it is you are going not where you are at.
This in turn helps you to know if you do have a big enough why and what is the what you want. These are two main factors as to why it is that you may not get the right who.
Now there are a few important steps to a successful smart goal setting process.
Firstly S.M.A.R.T goal are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time bound so take the time to describe and clarify what S.M.A.R.T in these Goals within each of these areas.
Clarify the difference between goals and objectives as we attain goals and we do objectives.
Objectives are the means to accomplishing a goal. Usually it takes several objectives to reach a goal. An action verb commences all objectives.
Goals are associated with outcomes, which are the end-products and act as point of references that ensure that all activities and objectives are on course.
Now for combine the both of these two worlds into how to set a goal and enabling the goal to have clarity and to see who it is that you really need.
Okay what about an Example let say you set up a business selling real estate without need of borrowing money, while staying at my job I have by 2/June/2013
Okay how does SMART & 3Ws help with this example?
3W start of asking who gives this to you?
If answer is I do not know or unsure etc.. then you go back and re-write what you want.
How do this by asking question what ways can start this business without borrowing money and not leaving work?
Answer: sales person who on commission
So now goal would be to hire a sale person and once that is written you ask again who gives to you?
Then drill again and again until it is so clear on what you want you know who it is that gives you that how and that it falls into the when you want it.
After this is done you can apply SMART us aspect of it.
YES. The only thing is it will not resolve social issues.
However it is possible to have zero debt. HOW?
Well that is as simple as combining systems such double accounting entry system, barter, and key cards.
E.G. Sell a house for $100K and the buyer B buys this with zero dollar in account. SO what would happen?, simple.
Buy B is credit and debt the value of the purchase. While the Seller is credit the value of sale and debit ONLY the cost of building the house.
If their none well then debit does not happen.
Let say their is a exchange such as boat for a house. How would this work?
Seller A sells boat for 50k
Seller B sells house for 100k
SO both agree to exchange the items for sale according to their value. This would mean that seller A is credit and debit 100K.
Seller B is also credit and debt 50K for the boat. leaving both seller A & B to be debt the value of the purchase leaving only the profit.
What about work and/or your Job can this work here?
Yes.
How it simple you only credit since their is no direct cost while been their at work. However the business that hires you is credit and debt themselves since they have a direct cost in hiring you.
Meaning that No debt can happen leaving a zero balance and even a profit. This would mean everyone would be able to purchase what ever they wished.
It also mean that any country in the world to run such a system would also be the most profitable. WHY that question is easy to answer lol.
They have no debts and ever company would want to go their since now when they sell their goods or service oversea for cash and this would give them pure profit. Plus the company would have NO debts.
Now the people also will be very well off since they can do the same thing for themselves.
Also I would included an exchange for credit profits to cash, so that if a person wish to travel oversea they have cash.
Well that is my some what crazy idea of no debt :)
Will work hmmm yes and no, the no is all social issue they are only issue that one can bring up and find fault against such a system.
It was then I could see with clear focus that the problem was the opportunity plus responsibility of my journey lay with me and that I’m in control of what was happening I just had to get clear and clean of those limits.
All that in a smile wow and then I said to myself I now know what it truly means to feed a man a fish for today and then teach him to fish so he can feed himself for life.
Now while been ready to teach I must be ready to learn as well then I’m ready to eat and truly enjoy the lesson that I have learnt.
Then I start to walk back home so to cook the rest of catch. As I cook you could see and smell the fish simmering in its juices as you could to what had happen.
Then at that moment in the aroma of the fish as it filled the room with it`s sweetness and beauty then I realized more of the lesson which is not just catching but also cooking and that it is okay to eat anytime.
With that I had to be clear and focus to learn and to teach how to catch a fish and cook it.
Then I smiled with the sunlight of gratitude and at that moment I saw son trying sneaking a look into he’s present.
At that I said to him the real gift is inside the present.
My son said I know it is and it can be what ever I want it to be and I will be happy with what ever you have given me as this present is your gift to me.
Then I knew I was truly being feed today and that the present was a wonderfully loving gift.
Blue clear sky and nice smooth cool breeze was the start of a new day as I grab two fishing robs and two reels plus bait and nets to take my son fishing.
I said to him are ready to go fishing today and then I said I will teach you to fish.
We walk to the beach now while at the beach I sat down all the fishing gear by the barbeque and then grab the fishing rob.
Now at the water I said this is where I ‘am showing you how to fish and as I baited, cast the line and then reeling in I told him of sounds and sights, smells and feel of fishing.
My son spoke and said dad thanks but how can I understand all of this if I don’t have a fishing rob?
Then I answer well first lets cook so that you can understand more about fishing.
As we went back to the barbeque to cook the fish I start of cooking the fish and told my son to sit so that I can tell him more.
Once my son sat down I said to him to fish you must be ready to teach yourself so you can feed yourself as well be able to learn because it is you who can not teach without first be able to learn and you can not learn first unless your ready to teach.
So before can teach you must ready to learn and before you can learn you must be ready to teach
Then my son said what must I do if I do not know how to do both?
I look at him and said do not forget the present and gifts that it brings.
A smile with so much happiness and joy coming from my son and then I said lets go down to the water to do some more fishing.
As I did again I baited the hook, cast the line and while I was doing this my son look at me and said today is a present I shall look for gifts to where I can learn.
With that the ocean drove a lump of wood shape just like a fishing rod my son and I saw it singing within the waves laying on the shore bathing in the smells and sounds of the fish.
Then at that my son walks over to the piece of wood and then picks it up with that sinks a reel into it and then starts cast the line. It was as though the piece of wood had spoken to him and taught him how to fish it was like watching a master piece in action seeing he’s first caught of the day then I said let’s eat.
As we went up to cook the fish my son started cooking he`s first catch of the day at that I got the other rob and gave it to him and said this is your present that I had wrapped by the desk.
Then he said thanks now I can feed a man a fish and then teach him to fish so he can feed himself for life.
It was the night as the stars where bright and the shinning moonlight brightens the desk as, I wrapped a present with sparkling gold with crisp reds and tied the present with a bow. Truly a present to be given then it was dawn.
Looking at the sky so blue and feeling the cool air as I walk a long the road carrying my fishing rod and bait.
A magical morning it was feeling that crisp air, breathing in the trees around me as I got closer to the shores, I stood at the shore seeing the crystal blues as I smelt the water while feeling the sand in my toes.
As I stood their feeling the peace and sincerity of the walk and what is around me. I knew that it was coming from within me as I smile and said thank you with that, I baited the hook.
Casting ever so smoothly hearing the reel whistling along as the line dived into the sea.
It was as music had taken the line as I felt the fish grab the baited hook reeling in and than a bit out listening to the sweet tunes of play with the fish on my line.
It was then as a painting of a master pieces the finish and yet the being for I had caught the fish and knew to truly enjoy it would now be to cook it and taste the sweet meat.
Little did I know that my journey now had really began as I walk back I saw a man fishing by the river.
As I look and heard him swear and complaining that he was so hungry. Shouting at the river give me food let me eat and as I look I walk to the man and said let me show how to fish so you can feed yourself.
Now if that was not enough how he acted it surprised me, With what happen next as the man said NO you will not for I am hungry let me feed on the fish you have caught.
Then I reply to what end when tomorrow comes you will not know how to feed yourself so now I shall show you how to fish and in that, I will teach you to feed yourself.
NO! He shouts you shall not do that, how can you teach when you are not willing to learn. So before you can teach you must be ready to learn but before can learn you must be ready to teach as for you it is you that has created everything that you see.
To what end is it that you teach when it is that you need to learn first before you can teach.
And to what end is it that you learn first when you are not ready to teach.
As I stood as I listen really listen and heard each word hit my heart it was as all that what I thought and experience which brought this to life.
Then at that moment in that space of time, I smiled as tear came from my eye it was not of sadness but of pure joy for then I knew.
At the time I ask the man to show me how to fish with that he said yes I shall show you but firstly lets eat and as I cook the fish I will tell how to fish.
As I watch him cook the fish he explain to me how to fish, so that I had to imagine what it would feel like to be grateful for what I have and to be thankfully for that experience and be ready to teach and learn as well see the present within.
Then he explain to me how he bait the hook, cast the line and reel in the fish and that what ever happen is just a perception of what is inside you and to be before the giving of the present.
I stood their listening to he`s words and spacious within them and I then show him how I was doing that before at the ocean.
As I spoke it was as every word was like honey sweet to taste as man heard everything and started to follow the actions and at that time it was for me like clear blue sky I could see the lesson that I had learnt yet did not know their was more.
For when I part after all that had happen I look back at the man then at that I realized who it truly was.
Then at that moment in space and time I look into the distance and I saw me smiling and then I look back at the man.
For whom he was and that was me for then I truly understood why it was that I was smiling in the distance.
