Electronic Music
Fmdelta90.3 is one great electronic beat music radio channel I listen to quite a lot. You will as well get to hear the news and all else in spanish. I am usually not into the electronic popular music played on radio, but this one stationed in Buenos Aires is not so, so to say, narrowminded. Or it is maybe I that is narrowminded? It could be. But we all have our preferences. It is quite interesting actually, I have found out. I have heard music and just absolutely hated it, I could at the time not understand how people could listen to that kind of music. Only to, sooner than said, find out that I have become something of a fan to that very music :D (irritating) and not listening to something else, and that was the music I hated before. Indeed quite a humouros paradox. There are so many things to be said about electronic music. It really holds an unlimited potential, not that other genres don't, but it is there in so many expressions with the aid of electronics and digitalization. And that is the reason why many hate it. That's fine. Maybe they will notice something in it one day, and I will be a devoted punk rocker. :)
Meditation
It is 15 years ago (I was 17) since I went to my first meditation class. The teacher was of a Zen-Buddhist type, so the teaching was very simple yet the elaboration about the deepening process the teacher presented went into the deepth of the abyss and I was one big questionmark. You recognize? I am sure this was what the teacher wanted, allthough I did not understand it until recently when reflecting on it, much later. Since Zen is so complex it get's simple and so simple it get's complex, I was in for something that was way deeper than I had first anticipted. I had my first recognized experience of expanded consciousness and that never left me alone. Way too late to go back to the former, old life. The snowball kept rolling and kept getting bigger, until it crashed and a deepening occured and a new ball started a new snowball ride. On and on it goes. Expansions of consciousness and then the unmistakable experience and feeling of being an inhabitant of another dark place of ones own psyche. But it is worth it, as one of the big gains is increased insight and inner strengths developing. I highly recommend meditation.
