The future scares me, I admit that much. It may be because I don't know what will happen next, if life is going to throw a curve ball at me or not, but I also look forward to see what happens next. Test grades for example; if I feel as though I may have done poorly, I dread getting the test back, but I also want to know what I did wrong so I can know what to do. It's one of these types of thought patterns that keep me up some nights,but on nights like last night, I am able to get lots of work done. I don't know why I fear the unknown, I am a big believer in some science fiction stuff, I would love it if there were other forms of intelligent life out there in the final frontier (Gene Roddenberry, love ya). Its already shaping to be a night where I may be up thinking again lol so bring on the Peanut Butter Jelly sandwiches
People tell me I'm a Debbie downer, when I'm not. I don't see the glass as half empty or at half full, I see it as how it is, and then drink whatever is in the glass. I find Valentines day depressing just because of past experiences on this day, but I try not to let it get to me, it also helps if i sleep first but i need to keep shoveling this snow...
This will be my first Valentines day alone, but not necessarily a bad thing considering what has happened in the past. Anyone else have good insights on the world of realism?
