Pg. 3 - Why do people judge someone

In 2004 my daughter graduated high school I was smiling from ear to ear so had came so far, I was so proud of her again. Between 2005 & 2006 my daughter and I have went through a lot but she turned her self around and now in 2007 she now has her CNA License she got by going to Job Corps and she is planning to go back to get her LPN license, I am oh so proud of her.
Since 1992 to today, I have been taking care of my step mom with all her broken bones and surgeries and now terminal cancer. I also have been helping my dad once again he owns a farm and he can’t do it all himself he tries but his COPD and other health problems get in the way at times.

So this is just a little about me judge you if want – but you haven’t lived my life

Pg.1 - Why do people judge someone

Why do people judge someone when they don’t even know them, so thought I would write a little about myself than if a person wants to judge me and send me anymore nasty e-mails at least they would know a little about me!
I was born in Portsmouth, Va. in 1963 in the Portsmouth Naval Hospital yes I am a military brat as they use to say. Than my dad got transferred to Annapolis, MD in 1965 where my brother was born then in 1968, my dad was out of the military, we than moved back to Illinois where both my parents where from. In 1968 is when the abuse started, I will not go into this part of my life but there was verbal, physical and s*xual abuse.
From 1970 to 1974 we lived on an old Indian reservation and on top of the hill where we lived my brother and I would go and find arrow heads and Indian beads, which my dad & aunt ended up with. I also went on top of that hill just to escape, there was an old Indian spirit I use to talk to. I learned not to talk about him in fact I learned not to talk about a lot of things I seen and heard. I grew up with my parents always saying kids should be seen not heard. We had all sorts of animals at least 2 of everything; I use to call it my dad’s Noah’s Ark. Every Saturday was clean out the barns day, yuck I use to hate Saturday’s. During the week we my brother and I would get up early so we could do our chores, than come in and take a bath and get ready for school when school was done for the day we got to come home to do our homework and than change our clothes and do our nightly chores. In the summer months we got to have so much fun, working in the huge garden my dad and us planted. We got to pull weeds, pick whatever had to be picked, than I got to help can the veggies. Oh yea in the summer time we also got to help butchering the hogs, cows, rabbits and chickens so we could be all ready for the winter months.
In 1975 we moved to what I called a city to find out it was only a very small town, but at least all I knew I could see other homes this time even if they where not that close and vehicles that drove past our lane. I thought that the farm life was over until my dad decided we where going to have a huge garden again. Than came the rabbits and chickens and so the outside chores where back on top of the other chores we had all ready had assigned to us. Then in the summer of 76 my dad bought a gas station so that summer I pumped gas for him and did my regular chores at home. In 7th and 8th grade I was in choir and in 8th grade I went to a County Singing Contest and won 1st in my age group and than off to the State Competition and came back with 1st place again.
In 1979 I started high school and lived in a different town by this time, on a street that had a lot of homes I had never lived that closed to someone before and I thought wow this is awesome, but that’s what I thought. I wasn’t allowed any friends over my dad didn’t want the headaches of other children hanging around. My dad wouldn’t allow me to take choir because that meant staying after school and we where not allowed to participate in after school activities, we had chores to do and didn’t have time for that nonsense.
In 1982 I graduated high school and in the fall of 1982, I never seen but one football game and only been to one dance in those 4 years, I never got to go to prom I wasn’t allowed. I went off to Job Corps to get a receptionist certificate. In 1983 I was back living with my parents I had no other place to go had no friends to lean on, well in the summer of 1983 the s*xual abuse came out, my life was threatened by my dad and my mom flipped out and I had a 22 rifle at my forehead I begged her to pull the trigger it would have been dead than what my life had already been.
In December of 1984 I got married to the first guy that asked me, he was a military guy also he had orders to transfer to Portsmouth, VA so there I was again.
