I met him online when he was in the Army and we chatted as online buds could. He talked on the phone a few times as well.
A couple of years went by and we hooked up online again and he gave me his number to call. He was now state side. We talked for days, weeks and even months until he finally wanted to meet in person.
After we met he expressed his feelings for me and I got scared. See, I was married at the time and I had always been upfront about that. I wasn't looking for someone, even though my marriage was going down really fast. I still want to stay for and give it a try.
Over a year passed and I looked his number up when a friend reminded me of him. I remember him telling me that his father grew ill. When I called, he was shocked but he remembered me well. He asked if I was still married and I said I was but by this time I was no longer with my husband. Our chats online, our talks on the phone were endless and I would just call him at times to hear his voice.
I soon learned to use text message because I could talk to him while I was work and before I knew it he had expressed his love to me. My feelings were mutual but was scared as hell at what could be.
Within a couple of months, I drove to see him because waiting for him to come to me was not soon enough. We shared a wonderful evening together and a couple of days later he said that the relationship was going to fast for him. He still loved me and cared for me but somehow it was different. He wanted the s*xual relationship to continue but because he drives over the road, well that's just impossible I would say.
Both our feelings have turned to confusion and all I want is answers to what went wrong. he once said he was scared and another he felt smothered but i only think those were the yes answers to my questions. His friend says he cares alot about me and things will work out but when?
He since has changed his number and blocks his number when calls now. He told me he doesn't want to be friends and that he decided to go back to an ex girlfriend from three years ago. What went wrong? What did I do wrong?
